Lord, , each day I awake to a task so overwhelming, I dare not attempt it alone. I need your joy and strength along with your courage and wisdom to meet the demands of the day.
Help me be sensitive to my child's hidden needs, drawing out their hurts and questions. Often they are afraid to share with me for fear of adding to my already heavy load.
Thank you Father for meeting each of our material, emotional and spiritual needs with your overflowing abundance.
And thank you for being my partner - allowing me to rest in the knowledge that you are not only able, but also ready to fill in where I lack and be the parent I can never be.
Bless our home with your patience, peace, laughter and love and remind us to enjoy each moment together, making time to create tomorrow's treasured memories, today.
